The truth is every single person on this planet is in a fight for their life. The problem is some of us refuse to take part in the battle.
Modern Gladiator is a way of life that extends far beyond the common boundaries of human existence.
On one hand you have the creative mindset
The part of the mind that fights oppression with creative expression. Usually displayed with music, art, and poetry.
On the other hand, you have the defender mindset.
The part of the mind that focuses on self-preservation, physical fitness and protection of others.
Both parts are equally important and necessary for a balanced existence of the individual.
Too much of either will lead to the definite ruin of the individual. While creativity is a good thing, too much of it will make you soft. It will cause you to lose sense of reality and make you unfit or unprepared for dealing with the unpleasant things in life.
Too much defense will make you sharp and bold but also jaded and cold. You will be ready to defend but will lack compassion. PTSD is common symptom of this imbalance. Often seen in soldiers returning from war who don’t find positive was to fill the void.
It is the constant development of these two systems that lead you here today. One of them brought you and hopefully the other will help you to stay. This is the way of life for us and this is our story.
1 CHRONICLES 19:13 KJV
All the tactics in the world can't save your life if you don't know how to apply them to your daily life. In the realm of self-defense, possessing tactical knowledge alone is insufficient if one cannot integrate it seamlessly into daily life. Our approach, the Modern Gladiator Defense System, simplifies this integration by focusing on three core categories: technical knowledge, technique, and live fire training.
Ethical is key. We don't teach bad guys and have a strenuous vetting process to ensure we are helping and not harming our community.
Our courses are led Military Veterans who are certified instructors with extensive real-world experience, ensuring that students receive excellent training grounded in practical application.
Our Firearms academy has adopted the "fireteam" approach. Our preferred class size is 4 people. This intimate setting allows for personalized attention, fostering a deeper understanding of the material for each participant.
We believe that learning is most effective when it's enjoyable. By creating a dynamic and engaging environment that induces stress in a controlled manner, we transition our approach from purely tactical to truly practical. This ensures that the information learned is easily retrievable in high-pressure situations, empowering our students to respond effectively when it matters most."
